Founder and Executive Director
Stephen is the Founder and Executive Director of American Foster Futures. As a ward of the State of Texas, Stephen spent years living in numerous foster homes, high level secured facilities, experienced homelessness as a runaway and was ultimately emancipated at the age of 17. As a recipient of the Texas Foster Care Tuition Waiver, Stephen gained a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Texas and is near completion of his Masters of Public Administration in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Tyler. His professional experience includes Director level experience in labor unions and community organizations across the nation, where he honed his skills at policy analysis, legislative advocacy and public speaking. Stephen is now laser focused on expanding educational opportunities for all youth who have experienced foster care of any kind.

Mike brings strategic insight and a deep commitment to youth development. As a founding board member, he supports organizational growth, partnerships, and program design focused on employment readiness and national transition support for young people aging out of care.

Director
Ronda is a dedicated advocate for marginalized youth and families. She contributes expertise in community engagement, education equity, and direct services. On the board she helps guide AFF’s national housing campaign and wraparound support programs.
