Stephen is the Founder and Executive Director of American Foster Futures. As a ward of the State of Texas, Stephen spent years living in numerous foster homes, high level secured facilities, experienced homelessness as a runaway and was ultimately emancipated at the age of 17. As a recipient of the Texas Foster Care Tuition Waiver, Stephen gained a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Texas and is near completion of his Masters of Public Administration in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Tyler. Stephen's professional experience includes Director level experience organizing labor unions and community organizations across the nation, where he honed his skills at policy analysis, legislative advocacy and public speaking. Stephen is now laser focused on expanding educational opportunities for all youth who have experienced foster care of any kind.

Ronni Kasper has been a practicing Registered Nurse specializing in dermatology, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery since 2015. Ronni graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a dual B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy and a M.S. Nursing. She coordinated graduate level research in neuroscience, cognitive science, sleep medicine, neurology during her time in Austin, where she still resides with her faithful Maltipoo, Chooper, by her side. Ronni is determined to leverage her expertise in medicine and psychology in advocating for young adults who have experienced foster care throughout the nation.
