May 15, 2025 — American Foster Futures was officially incorporated as a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation. The founding board adopted the initial bylaws and elected officers with a national mission from day one.

From day one, AFF has focused on two powerful levers for change:

• Advocating for state tuition waiver programs modeled after Texas and building a national reciprocity movement.
• Delivering housing navigation, education, and aging-out support for foster youth nationwide through virtual and community-based programs.
