The Foundation Program is AFF’s STEM pipeline for young people who have experienced foster care or other disadvantage. We pair hands-on AI coding, modular microgreens (life-support skills for the future), and college-to-career pathways.

Hands-on indoor grow work with modular microgreen systems — compact food production skills relevant to life-support and farming concepts for space travel, developed through Foundation Farms (Dallas, TX).
STEM career exposure and mentorship aimed at technology and space exploration — with an ambitious long-term goal of sending a foster youth or former foster youth to space.
